i'm with you man, several people have been calling me an idiot for choosing ali as the most over-rated boxer of all times, they even leave me comments in my reputation talking **** about it.


i never knew some people here took the internet and people's opinion so serious.

Butterfly you say Marciano was so protected but I've never seen any concrete evidence that he was protected or that he ever dodged a fight for that matter...

Most overrated boxer ever....

Inside the boxing world Jack Johnson is definitely overrated...
He's definitely given more credit then he deserves IMO...

Outside (and inside as well alittle) Muhammad Ali....
He was the most flamboyant, boxer saying he was the greatest..This made him well known, and because he's very well known alot of ppl who aren't fimilar with boxing will go to him because they think he's the best...

Currently-
Nikolai Valuev is getting pretty overrated...

Marciano didn't fight a decent fighter until his 26th fight and his fourth year as a pro. Everyone else were journeyman and bums. I'd call that protective.

Jack Johnson is definetely not overrated on these forums, that's for sure.
