Inside the boxing world Jack Johnson is definitely overrated...
He's definitely given more credit then he deserves IMO...

Outside (and inside as well alittle) Muhammad Ali....
He was the most flamboyant, boxer saying he was the greatest..This made him well known, and because he's very well known alot of ppl who aren't fimilar with boxing will go to him because they think he's the best...

Jack Johnson might actually be the most overrated fighter ever. He had basically the same style and excitement level as John Ruiz except he was worse at it and some boxing writers like Bert Sugar have him rated at #3 best all time heavyweight. Totally ridiculous.

Please explain to me how Robinson is the most over-rated fighter in boxing? He was around in an era where boxers didnt get over-rated or under-rated cos the promoting was different back then and more fighters fought the best. Robinson fought the best and beat them. Look at his record against LaMotta. In my opinion LaMotta is a legend and Robinson used to make him his ***** back in the day.
