But Tyson did? It is argued the same with Mike. When he finally fought somebody worthwhile ge got beat. I dont believe that his in the ring ability to me was wicked but you cant claim that Hamed had nothing when he faced a "true warrior" cos I remember many people claiming Evander to be the first "true warrior" Mike would fight. And look what happened.

And I heard on a tv program that Barrera and Morales both backed away from Hamed. Like its been said Barrera was offered lots of money numerous times to fight Hamed and he turned it down. Hamed also claimed that he had wanted the fight for over three years but Barrera and Morales never came to the table.

I'm not knocking Barrera. Terrific fighter. I'm just knocking the people that are talking **** about Hamed. He did not duck anyone and was a great champion and has done more for boxing than most boxers.

I think Juan Manuel Marquez was jumping up and down for a bout with Hamed.

Hamed was wise to ignore him.

-Barrera was indeed offered the fight many times most notably after they fought on the same card in 98. Smart moves by Barrera at the time as his brawling style would have played into Hamed’s hands.

-JMM was offered a fight to but declined due to a low purse.

-Morales said he didn’t want the after he beat Barrera

-Tapia turned down around $1.5 Million to fight Hamed

-Espinosa was only interested in fighting high purse, low quality opponent fighters and wanted no part of Naz when he moved to the US feeling that losing would hurt his bid in the US.

        Hamed ducked no-one.

Prime Hamed probably could have beaten a Prime Pac... but 9/10 times MAB will hand his ass to him....

Fair enough. I wouldnt say 9/10 but I'm not sure if a prime Hamed could have beaten Barrera. Barrera sat back and picked apart Hamed's unorthadox style. Never opened up once.

Barrera didn't open up 'coz he didn't need to... he was controlling the fight... he didn't need to brawl with HAmed (he could brawl, no doubt about it), Barrera was just too smart to do it... Barrera adjusts well to his opponents styles in most of his fights... and that's what sets him apart from all of the Prince's opponents...

Hamed was a half decent boxer who beat up old washed up bums.

First time he boxed anyone good (read - Marco Antonio Barrera) he got his arse kicked good and proper. The fight's on YouTube check it out....it'll prove to you all how **** Hamed was.

                  That's the skinny, folks...

                      What?

Who the **** is a coward and 'too *****' when same guy got in the ring with Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiaou?

Think maybe you should do your sums again.
