Tommy was probably a murderous puncher. But the hardest punchers never make the best boxers becase they get lured into the false security of only thinking they can land their punches and then the fight will be over.
Tommy probaby spent many hours training to hit as hard as he could. He could probably have become a better boxer if he didnt concentrate on power and spent more time on subtler skills of boxing.

yea,,,so what? whats that have to do with morrison and anyway who cares what the hell hbo commentators have to say. are they the red seal of approval on punching power? I'd put a hell of a lot more credence on fighters who have taken the guys punches over a couple hbo guys that have never put a glove on in there life other than a latex

so thomas and mercer reckon that morrison was the hardest puncher they faced . so what . it doesent make it true . The fact of the matter is that when come to fighters saying who hit the hardest you should take what they say with a pinch of salt . For example phil jackson said that wald klitschko punched much harder than lewis . botha said that lewis punched much harder than wald . olver mccall said buster douglas punched harder than lewis and tyson. vitali said corrie sanders puncher harder than lewis . rahman said lewis punched harder than sanders and tua. Alex stewart said that holyfield was the hardest puncher he faced . Get my point.

I agree.Imagine if all fighters said **** like that,we would think every1 was 1 of the hardest hitters
