Savon had the size advantage, and was fleet footed. Good matchup.

        "Yikes" what?

The guy has been defeated many times and has been knocked out as well. What does that prove? he was human.

Amatuer boxing is also different from Pro. How many Amatuer fighters have we seen not make good Pro's?

You just don't know. At least with IKE, we saw him fight Pro, and saw his talent at a pro level, fighting Tua in his prime. Not a young boy still trying to grow some hair on his balls like Savon liked to beat up on.

Savon was a great amatuer, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

I will take Foreman. George's jab was lethal; just look at his Gold Medal win vs. the Russian, incredible. I am not sure about the details of the Russian, but he got his ass beat.

OMG...i thought Tua was supposed to be iron chinned. He got knocked down with a nothing punch.
Was Mike Tyson ever knocked down like that in the Amatuers?

That punch was full leverage, I don't know what you're talking about...
I'm not sure if Tyson was knocked down in amateurs, but he was knocked down with a single punch while sparring...

That was a nice short right hand and Tua never saw it coming.

Its because of communism actually, pro sports arent allowed under many communist (e.g. the soviet union). I guess its because wages are supposed to be equal or some ****.
