This is why most top sprinters, bodybuilders and strongmen are in their early 30's to early 40's.
    You're dumb as rocks

Testosterone i needed for muscle development and growth. And men peak in their early to mid 20s.

The heart ailment that Evander suffered from is consistent with steroid abuse as well.

It's easier once you hit 25+ because your body is full grown and your strength increases with the release of DHT, or so I hear.
You will thicken as you get into your 20's-30's, but it will not be dramatic like say, Barry Bonds. Either way, you pretty much know who the Freak of Natures are by their teens.

I actually eluded to it in one of my threads about "If fighter "A" is on steroids, and beats fighter "B""

There was a huge raid in Florida recently, is that what everybody is eluding to?

Also, lets not get out of hand and start accusing 100% of athletes that they use steroids.

People think you can't look muscular and ripped by your own freakish genes. The majority, I will admit, have average genes and can't get those bodies, but we are talking about "ELITE" here. These guys are the Alpha-Males.

I think so, but there are a lot of people that have heart ailments; many even go unnoticed until the person dies. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems a bit more high with African Americans. It could mostly be from diet.

Its nothing official yet, but it may be true. It certainly looks true... the guy is 40 and as ripped as ever
The best you can do is post that article from ESPN. It's grosly unfair to discuss such things in the open if it's not confirmed yet, so at least show the article.

Yes, I agree. We need proof.

I agree that he did bring character and class to the division and I was a big fan of his in his prime,, but he did or does use steroids. its obvious to anyone with a brain
How is it obvious? Please explain.

i`m not an expert, but i think the point is that in an 8 month time span Evander managed to increase his weight from 190lbs to 210lbs without a significant change in his body fat.

A good rule of thumb for any natural bodybuilder is that the most amount of mass you can add in 1 year is around 12-14lbs.

For Evander to add 20lbs of lean body mass without steroids in 32 weeks would not be possible.

The best time in your life that you can put on a vast amount of muscle (reaching your peak), is in your 20's.

Just remember, everybody is different. Testosterone and other hormones range in your system vary from person to person. Muscle fibers and bone-structure also vary.
Not everybody gains the same amount, nor heals as fast, in the same time period.

yes each person is different but some things aren`t humanly possible. An average bodybuilder who was juiced up to his eyeballs would struggle to put on 20lbs of lean body mass in 32 weeks.
