It was a beautiful display of boxing, no doubt. However, Lacy was overrated, and anybody that wasn't a groupie understood that Lacy had a lot of holes. When someone is compared to a super-middleweight version of Mike Tyson (in his prime), yet doesn't display the same ability in speed, combinations, technique, balance, etc. then you know boxing is at a low point.

It still bafles me that so many can get caught up in the hype so fast because they have a "Need" for another "Star." Be patient, learn from the past, and do your best at pushing through the fog, that is my advice.

Joe should of fought Roy, I will still argue that. Clinton Woods wanted to challenge himself, and he did by fighting Roy (in his prime).

Now we are supposed to listen to Joe because he wants to fight a 41 year old man? No, unify your own division at least or move up to 175 and fight some competition there. If Hopkins wants to fight you, then he will.

I am not a huge fan of Hopkins either, so lets not start. Hopkins lost to Jones, and didn't chase after him, yet somehow after fighting a deflated Tarver, thinks his legacy is greater.

Joe has talent and had great potential, but I feel he didn't live up to what he could have been. But hey, I am not taking the punches so if he can make some money, not get hurt, and retire healthy, all the power to him.

I would just be happy if he left his backyard for once in his life...

Punchers get the hype. Right now it's MIranda. And when he gets knocked out or Ud'd 120-107 (soon enough), we'll be stuck with the same question of how much credit to give.

Yeah, it's not like Winky is a top p4p fighter. He sure is no Bika or Manfredo. Or Glen Johnson.

Oh wait, Joe pulled out of that one how many times?

Good question man. I'm not sure who's training Manfredo especially with Roach being occupied with Oscar and Manny in PR. Not just basing it off Calzaghe's last performance, but I think Manfredo has a legit shot at handing Joe his first loss. How about you?

                      Good comeback...

Calzaghe is the one talking about wanting to fight in America. This is where the money is at. There's no money to be made in the UK. When Ricky Hatton, your biggest star, has only made about $5 million as his biggest payday, there is absolutely no point going to the UK to fight...

You think Lennox Lewis could have made all that money if he didn't fight in the US for most of his career?
