Amir Khan - one punch KO artist?

Looks like he's developing a punch to go with all that skill - the world's lightweights better watch out!!!

I'd agree if he actually KO'd the guy with one punch instead of just scoring a tko.

Just scoring a tko? It was with one punch and the guys legs were completely gone. You can argue over semantics if you like but my point is that he seems to be building real one punch power.

Damn, that was impressive. Great timing on that right hand. I think he's better than the Prince.

Definitely. For me it was power that was lacking but he seems to be bringing that on. He's gonna be an awesome fighter, anyone that can beat Mario Kindelan has got to have something about him.

Are you joking? There's really no comparison.
He's been fighting small guys who have been carefully selected to possess zero power. When he starts fighting skilled fighters with a punch (this decade?), I think he may be in trouble given Warren's safety first policy. And no, he's definitely not a 1 punch KO artist, not even a particularly hard hitter.

1 punch KO power is natural, either got it or you haven't. Khans never put a guy down for the 10 count despite the numerous smaller tomato cans he's fought. therefore he is not a one punch KO artist. Naz was a one punch KO artist, khan is not.

You're absolutely right about the guys he has been fighting, it's a joke. Warren's not put him in with even ONE guy that can punch, so when he does finally get his whiskers tested it's gonna come as a shock.

What can I say, check out my sig. I ****ing hate Warren, he's ruining British boxing. But I can still be impressed with someone even if he has been fighting smaller guys with no punch. I get the feeling that Khan wont stand for too much of Warren's bull**** so I hope the opposition gets stepped up soon for his sake. As you say, these guys are teaching him nothing and I hope a potentially great career doesnt go to waste
