once again for the record, mayweather has always said, the less you get hit, the longer you last in the sport of boxing. it's no secret his dad trained him to be a defensive fighter while he was grwoing up which he still is to this day. what's really wrong with this? not a damn thing. floyd mayweather is a great technician, and a natural boxer. he is a smart fighter. he reminds me of eminem when em raps. em sits down and works on his craft like a madman until it's perfected and he does what he has to do when he is a battle or beef to defeat his opponent, which is why he's still undefeated in his artform also. they are just concious artists wanting to be the best at what they do and they are the best at what they do.

floyd did stand a trade with carlos in round 6 and he buckled carlos and carlos wabbled and almost stumble to the canvas when they exchanged at the end of the round. floyd picks and chooses what he feels is the right time to stand a trade, and he picks the right time to potshot and combo. he's a smatr fighter, and who cares what peoplle think about his fighting style because it's gotten this far in his career. every top notch fighter wants to fight floyd because they know he is the best fighter in the sport, and they believe they have what it takes to defeat him, but my oh my, how wrong they are because floyd is no fool, he studies their fighting styles even if he admits he doesn't, he does and knows them like the back if his hand. floyd is a living legend and the top fighters in the sport are doing nothing but confirming it when they call him out. they want to fight the best, and floyd mayweather is the best p4p, no questions asked.

Ive just youtubed to see some old PBF fights. Angel Manfredy was the one i just watched and i cant believe how early it was stopped. Manfredy was being elusive and still punching back and the ref stops it. Unbelievable. In the old days they had to peel you off of the canvas.

How can you say he didn't run from Baldomir? Thats like saying Hatton didn't Clinch in the Urango fight.

Its not an either/or situation you know? He could just say that he is going to do whatever it takes to win, or just that he IS going to win. You dont have to lie to not sound boring.

Oh, OK then. Keep saying stuff that you don't back up. It sells me on a fight. There's a reason people booed the Baldomir fight and it wasn't your fighting style. It was the promise of a beating that wasn't even close to being fulfilled or even attempted that created dissapointment.
If the fight is that easy (and it was for you with your high level of ability) and you were in complete control (and you were) and you promised a knockdown (and you did) then at least give it a little try.

I want to like you Floyd, your skills are superb but you don't have the wit to be a trash talker. The ones who are good back up their words. The ones who are good make you laugh. The ones who are good know when to turn it on and off.

Please prove me wrong and batter DLH into a TKO. If you even try, I'll give you all the credit you deserve.

Mayweather will talk this talk to the end, and then abandon those sentiments for a safety first approach when Oscar is actually standing across the ring from him. Later, when fans are dissapointed, and Brian Kenny is confronting him about it on television, he'll retreat behind a cheap and porous barricade of wealth.

The only reason Kenny will not proceed to verbally rip him a new one is concern for his own professionalism.

Mayweather builds up more rage because of the criticism and take it out on his next opponent during the press conferences. By the time he gets to the fight however, this apparent rage of his has been seemingly depleted and he boxes yet another cautious fight.

Etc., etc. (you didn't think he'd actually retire did you?)

Well you guys were fooled into buying that fight. With Baldomir being that slow you really thought Floyd was gonna stand and trade with him? In some interviews he said toe-to-toe battle, and in others he said hit and not get hit. Floyd is not going to take unnecessary punishment just to prove it to critics. He doesn't care what you think of him anyway. If you wanna say he ran then ok he ran, Carlos was too slow to beat him even if he standed right in front of him. He ran ONE fight. Some of you idiots say it like he ran his entire career.

Floyd says that he hurt his hand. Baldomir's face was pink and had a small cut on the bridge of his nose. He was touched. He isn't going to KO anyone if his hands are injured.

How about DLH who just shook right after? Floyd stayed and interacted with the people.
