Dunno, I respect people who dont rise to baiting. Especially of the idiotic kind. Everyone knows that Floyd isnt going to stand and trade with De La Hoya. Nobody disrespects him for it, because it would be the wrong thing to do if he wants to win the fight and its not his style. The idiotic thing is pretending/making out like he will.

Yep why does he keep saying he is going to duke it out like a man? Why dont he just be honest and say he will dance. Ali said it. Nothing wrong with dancing if that is what youre good at.

Oscar really couldn't retaliate, Floyd wouldn't be still lol. **** was funny Mayweather was acting out big time. He was saying some funny ****. One thing you know though is that Mayweather is taking this fight seriously. But it is really pissing me off that he keeps saying it's his last fight. As a fan I don't want to see him retire so soon. But I know he has to be bluffing. I hope he's not underestimating Oscar. Oscar is no pushover at all. He will be ready, he is a smart fighter as well and has great technique. Honestly if Oscar focused on boxing instead of other things his career story may have been different.

If he he wins though this erases any other past dissapointments. I just hope it's a good fight. I don't want to see Floyd out there just embarassing DLH. That's my biggest concern, hopefully Oscar can stay with Floyd and be agressive.

There is noway in hell that PBF is underestimating DLH. People are claiming PBF is no1 and PBF wont take that responsibility lightly. He will want to deserve that acclaim.
But i hope he wont retire as well. Or at least makes a trip to Manchester before retiring.

Then to listen to Floyd get up there and say he's not handpicking fighters past their primes and using them as a trophy the way Oscar did Chavez. Well last time I checked Oscar has been past his prime for several years now. Yet Floyd is calling this the biggest fight of his career. Listen, I never saw Floyd fight until the first Castillo fight which pissed me off because I thought he lost. Since then I have grown to respect his fight game because he is one of the best pound for pound ever but, he has flaws a lot of flaws. His two biggest flaws in my opinion are his weak hands and his chin.

Speed does not equal victory, its heart, will, skill, and experience. Personally Floyd has never faced any fighter that has as much of an ego as he does until now. A fighter that has more experience and a fighter that can box and brawl. Floyd said he would stand there and trade with Baldy and what did he do pot shot and run. That will not work against Oscar because he will chase Floyd and fire shots as he pursues him. Like Roy Jones Floyd doesn't like to get hit why? Because he can't take the punishment. I believe Floyd will try to fight Oscar the way he fought Gatti until he feels those body shots and a couple of straight rights and left hooks. Then it will be a cat and mouse game and the crowd will start to get pissed because all this **** he's talking now but come fight night he will running like Carl Lewis. He has to win this fight Oscar has nothing lose he's been fighting once a year for the past 3 years now. As much as I would like to say I lived in someone era in which they were undefeated but I really would like 2 see oscar stretch his ass out.

the general idea is on spot,

                however

                1) it is usually the case that people do not like to get hit, even if they can take the punishment, because getting hit generally hurts,

moreover getting hit repeatedly costs you future mental activity.

so the part in bold is bull****

                2) mayweather has to say bull**** like i am going to stand, trade and fight to sell the fight.

I would do it too. if it meant an extra million dollar.

I think he would actually like to get in the conference i am going to make this guy look like a fool and stuff like that, but then would you buy the fight? this is the "pea problem"? mayweather is trying his own solution at that.

Mayweather is just arrogant. He doesnt have the charisma or the wit, therefore hes just annoying. But I "like" him as a fighter for what he does in the ring. he ****s people up.

Of course Floyd is going to say he's going to trade, or knock guys out.

It doesn't exactly made good trash talk, or help promote a big fight, if you say "Well, I plan to go in there and fight a defensive fight and win a decision.....I'm going to win a wide decision over you in a dull fight".
