    Its Hard 2 Like PBF

I just watched that NY press conference and I don't know who pissed me off more, Floyd or that idiot promoter. Talkin about your not gettin in with B-Hop, Shane, Vargas or Pernell, your gettin in with the "truth". Then to listen to Floyd get up there and say he's not handpicking fighters past their primes and using them as a trophy the way Oscar did Chavez. Well last time I checked Oscar has been past his prime for several years now. Yet Floyd is calling this the biggest fight of his career. Listen, I never saw Floyd fight until the first Castillo fight which pissed me off because I thought he lost. Since then I have grown to respect his fight game because he is one of the best pound for pound ever but, he has flaws a lot of flaws. His two biggest flaws in my opinion are his weak hands and his chin.

Speed does not equal victory, its heart, will, skill, and experience. Personally Floyd has never faced any fighter that has as much of an ego as he does until now. A fighter that has more experience and a fighter that can box and brawl. Floyd said he would stand there and trade with Baldy and what did he do pot shot and run. That will not work against Oscar because he will chase Floyd and fire shots as he pursues him. Like Roy Jones Floyd doesn't like to get hit why? Because he can't take the punishment. I believe Floyd will try to fight Oscar the way he fought Gatti until he feels those body shots and a couple of straight rights and left hooks. Then it will be a cat and mouse game and the crowd will start to get pissed because all this **** he's talking now but come fight night he will running like Carl Lewis. He has to win this fight Oscar has nothing lose he's been fighting once a year for the past 3 years now. As much as I would like to say I lived in someone era in which they were undefeated but I really would like 2 see oscar stretch his ass out.

good post.. and i think D Fischer says it best when it comes to why the majority respects his talent, but doesn't like him personally:

"Honestly, I would not have pooh-poohed Mayweather’s welterweight title-winning effort over Baldomir as much as I did had the Pretty Boy and his boorish cohorts not disrespected the Argentine vet at the final pre-fight press conference by telling him to his face that he would quit or surrender once the going got tough."

"I would not have been as disgusted by Mayweather’s blatant running in the second half of the fight had he not “predicted” that he was going to knock Baldomir out."

"It’s OK to talk the talk as long as you walk the walk, but Mayweather didn’t do that vs. Baldomir, he ran the race once the bell rung, and that’s bulls__t as far as I’m concerned."

the reason i don't count DLH out of this contest is Mayweather (camp included) are putting Oscar in that same mindstate as he was with Mayorga before their fight.. and we all saw how that ended.

Floyd doesn't give a damn if you like him or not. He's trying to sell a fight. Floyd didn't run from Baldomir he did potshot, but its not his fault Baldomir is slow as hell. Judah should have taken care of business and beat Baldomir.

fair enough, but i'm not talking about the talent of Oscar's competition, but the mindstate of Oscar himself... of course Mayorga is nowhere near Mayweather...

we'll have to see... i do agree with others looking at the big picture in that Floyd, in his attempts from the first two press conferences, is really selling this fight with his ability to get under peoples skin... i say at least one-million buys..

what made me the angriest, was how DLH was such a little ***** during the whole thing.

Never could come up w/ anything to say, except for "sit down! sit down!" which made him look soooooooo gay it was rediculous! lol

Welcome to the site. Great post! I found it funny too because for the last 2 years he also has had hand picked opponents. For some reason he thinks being the best pound for pound means never having lost a fight.. To me thats not the definition of P4P and saying he is greater than Ali because Ali lost is ******.. Ali lost to some great athletes and fought the best of his era.. Having lost to the best is greater than having won to no one in my opinion.. But thats just me!

K-Ball some people are not good at bagging and talking ****.. Like me for example I am pretty quiet when it comes to talking **** but once its on then I let my fists do the talking. You can't knock him though.. Its better that he kept his mouth shut then if he would have started talking **** also and sounded ******!

Oscar's new at this consistant (bull)****-talking, as opposed to Mayweather, who seemingly spouts it to the public daily....

i also find it ironic that when it doesn't seem like as much was covered from the big boxing sites at the Miami conference, Floyd is much kinder in his words than was the case at the first one.. it really only further proves my point that Floyd's pretty smart when it comes to selling this fight..
