But that young HW did not duck neither Foreman nor Frazier nor Liston and then proclaimed him self the Greatest. So you are irrelavant here. But Floyd 1) appeals to teenagers, most of whom are incapable of intelligent discussion and 2) has too many fans who have his name in their usernam/sig etc. This gives, rightfully or wrongfully, the impression of uncritical fanaticism. I never read posts by any poster with an individual fighter's name in the username or sig, but that I think means really only Floyd fans right now. HOw many users have 'Oscar' or 'Klit' in the username? I think many of us are just annoyed by the whole Floyd fanaticism that these teenagers have, and that more than Floyd's own shortcimings turns us off.

Thats a good point. ive never looked at it the way before. He's a boxer, not a role model. If people like him or not he's still one of if not the best at what he does.

I don't know I haven't read many of your posts to be honest. But I see Floyd's face real big twice and probably I assume it's going to be more **** like you get from SIN, Mayweather90, etc: 'p4p baby!', '****man fatton sucks! lmao pwn!'

He gets under my skin.if I cant like him outside the ring then its obvious I'm not exactly gonna be rooting for him in the ring.I'm not saying I would never be his friend because he may very well be a different person with his friends but his act in the spotlight........I hate.
Undeniably he is one of the best of his generation and until he beats better opponents starting with Oscar then we can START looking at him as an All-Time great.

Ive always rooted for the humble fighters. Thats just me, the more **** you talk and don't do in the ring the less I like you.(Example "I'm gonna knock his ass out" then turn around and do anything close to knocking him out. Ali was calling the rounds he was gonna do what he said he was gonna do.He backed his talk with actually doing what he said or at least trying to do what he said.

pbf has great abilities, but its hard for me to call him a great fighter when he's only faced two guys that had a chance of beating him (chico, castillo).... the all time greats fought wars with other great fighters, PBF hasn't done that... this fight with oscar will be his first fight against another "great" fighter....

I read people attacking his character and questioning his accomplishments when it comes to labeling him the damn G.O.A.T......because that's necessary.
