...I had to laugh at this because even though I like Sultan I kind of agree. But, he's just trying to get Shannon into the ring. It's all just to fire up Briggs and make him want to fight. It is interesting to see a white heavyweight talking **** for a change.

Sultan is still searching for an replacement for the fight on the 10th. Mercer, Guinn and a host of others have all turned the fight down.

I have word, from a good source that Mesi, if all goes well on Thursday night and he is in good shape after the fight, will be taking this fight. HBO wants it and so does team Mesi.

Imagine if Sultan takes this fight gets KO'd and now Mesi is the challenger for Briggs. I am NOT saying that Mesi will beat Briggs, but I am saying that after all this **** that Ibragimov be talking and then he looses his shot at the title to Baby Joe, a Late replacement. HAHAHAHA that would be great

Mesi would get murdered Im sorry but hes not the same guy as he was before not even close. This all really just messes up a really good night of boxing I was really looking forward to seeing Klitschko-Austin then Briggs-Ibragimov now I dont think there will another fight, and Im sure Brock is not going to fight Ibragimov for no interim title. I dont get this whole thing now, say is Ibragimov fight someone and gets beat then what happens does the winer fight Briggs or what?

Why would Guinn turn the fight down? It's not like the other contenders are beating down his door. This could have been his chance to get his name in the mix.

People in boxing know how good and dangerous Ibragimov really is. Also his reputation isn't all that great in the USA as he isn't well known, so it isn't like beating him is a huge feather in anyone's cap. The risks outweigh the payoff.

Briggs has a legit disease, and a real excuse to not fight your ass.
Id be happy if I were you, seeing how you stunk up the joint and got kd'd against journeyman Ray Austin.
If I were you i would shut up and sit down and be happy you can get some more money in smaller fights before you get your ass knocked out.

Ibragimov was responding to brigg's comments earlier in the week, you can't pull out of a fight and then criticise your opponent, briggs is a knobsack. Ibragimov may have been knocked down by ray austin, but he's never lost to anyone as **** as darrol wilson, sedreck fields or jameel mcline.

Briggs is being extremely over-rated at the minute, people seem to forget that he looked like **** for 35 minutes and 59 seconds of his last fight. If briggs doesn't finish ibragimov in the first couple of rounds, he will get knocked the **** out.

I can understand why Ibragimov is pissed - his title fight is gone. But **** talking is ******, he should be happy he got this shot after the draw with Austin in the first place. He should remember where Liakhovich got with his **** talking before Briggs fight. That said, I find it hard to believe that Guinn and Brock declined to fight Ibragimov. Mesi should not be there, he is barely winning 4-rounders out there.

he simply realized he was 290 pounds and out of shape from doing jack **** since he won his title.... finally he looked up and said...

"oh crap, the fights 3 weeks away, im disgustingly out of shape, i havent runa mile in 3 months... oh no worries, ill just use my lame ass astha/ any other breathing related disorder excuse"

its funny that a bunch of people who pride themselves on their boxing knowledge have continued to believe shannon briggs excuses, even though they havent changed in over a decade
