Lets say the Pinoys.. they back their man up 110% but I don't ever see them disrespecting any of his passed, or future opponents. Of course there is pre-fight hype and that build up, but there is no trash talk.

Every upcoming PBF's fight.. Mayweather trashes his opponents and so do you. What happened to respect?
I agree... 99% of Mayweather's fans on here seem to be charmless, loudmouthed ****s.

    What's the connection there?

What part of boxing being a savage sport do you know understand...This isn't golf....Why does a boxing match in essence is a fight... Why would you want to be polite to someone who you are about to fight? Thrashing your opponent or future opponents is strategy plain and simple...

How can a man stand up to you in the ring, once you smashed his confidence outside fo the ring...

I think the more appropriate question is, why can't a man say whatever is on his mind without people getting so sensitive about it... Mayweather talks **** outside the ring and backs it up in the ring, what's the big problem with that?
You have to atleast respect a man who isn't scared to speak his mind...

But I don't want to argue his merits with you. He's like W. Klitschko in that people see the potential for greatness that has not yet materialized.
          I disagree.
Floyd has had better victories than Winky.
Winky has outboxed fighters at higher weights than they belong.
And dont compare Floyds resume to Valuev's.
And I think Floyds greatness has materilized but he didnt cash in on facing the best he possibly could have.

The most annoying thing about PBF fans..

They Build up their GUY by Putting down his past Oppenents and possible Future Opponents

DONT THEY REALISE that by doing this.. they belittle PBFs own acomplishments..???

This is also Floyds problem.. You cant call a Guy a C class fighter.. beat HIM and then call yourself a Champ for doing it..Thats just shooting yourself in the foot..

All it would take is a LITTLE respect given.. and SO much would be returned..

Thats something that I never understood about Floyd.
I personally would want to up the opponents i have fought or am going to fight.
It not only makes you look like a better person, but a better fighter.

it has nothing to do with being arrogant. the reason i cheer for floyd and defend floyd on here is because as much **** as he talks which is really no different than toney, jones, ali, mayorga, vargas, or whoever, he backs his words up where it really counts, in the ring. i don't care about his **** talking because that is not why i'm drawn to him. the man is arguably the most gifted fighter in the sport today and has been for years now. from his fighting style to his charisma in the ring, it will be a long time imo to we see anybody who can put it all together like floyd mayweather can.

his offensive style is just so finesse and natural looking. add to that, i actually had a similar style to floyd when i was an active fighter myself. i appreciate the artform of boxing, and floyd is the perfect spokesperson for the artform. he knows how to box amazingly. add to that, he knows how to win, the best way he knows how. whether he has to brawl, potshot, or whatever he knows how to win. many people on here who hate floyd hate the fact that he's ****y, arrogant, self-centered, or whatever they hate him for. they find ways to criticize him heavily from the way he performs in the ring and out the ring. many of them, i'm pretty sure don't have his whole career and like to base their opinions of him off of certain fights, just because he doesn't fight the way they like for him to fight. i mean, give the man his due, he's undefeated. he's truly boxing's "boxer", and he is th ebest p4p fighter in the sport. fans on this site are blood thirsty and want floyd to slug it out, but that's not really his style, especially with his brittle hands. he breaks his hands a lot in his fights yet still finds ways to improvise so he can get the victory. that's saying a lot about him. he is tough as hell, but also smart as hell too.

floyd may contradict himself a lot but he has always had this saying and people seem to want to forget this saying, "the less you get hit, th elonger you last in the sport of boxing." he has been saying this for years now, and he's been showcasing this as well, with his fantastic defense. floyd has fought very well through adversity from the fans booing him to the media criticing his performances. the man has overcome all of this, and i respect the living hell out of him. he fights like the media don't exist. that's another reason he's a smart fighter, because at the end of the day he knows that the fans can boo him for fighting a boring fight to them, the commentators can ask him questions that make him look bad, the media can criticize the living hell out of him, but all that means not a damn thing if he is still winning and undefeated, an ddoing it in dominating fashion.

people criticize his level of opposition, and like to downplay them, call them washed up, has beens, whatever. if that's the case, then why are they still boxing? they must not be that washed up to still be competing.

many has talked about how floyd makes his fights boring. why is that? because you people cannot get enough of back and forth action and you feel that getting your money's worth means seeing two guys pound the hell out each other, who cares about a good old boxing match from a guy with amazing speed and consistent precision in his punches as well as great punch output and accuracy. who cares about that right? who cares if the man adjusts to his opponents throughout the fights and finds ways to beat them whether by late ko or ud.who cares if the man makes his opponents look silly when he dodges and blocks their punches at him.

i'll tell you all who cares, me and many others who appreciate the boxing artform and how much training and effort a fighter puts into his style, and floyd has done all of this. he trains like a maniac and has shown his dedication to the sport. hey, he won't please everybody. that comes with the territory but as much as he will be hated, all the insults, name calling, and other criticism from fans on here and in the professional sport mean abosolutely nothing as he continues to win and stay undefeated. floyd, keep doing what you do and do the way that best fits you. signing off.
