The most annoying thing about PBF fans..

They Build up their GUY by Putting down his past Oppenents and possible Future OpponentsDONT THEY REALISE that by doing this.. they belittle PBFs own acomplishments..???

This is also Floyds problem.. You cant call a Guy a C class fighter.. beat HIM and then call yourself a Champ for doing it..Thats just shooting yourself in the foot..

wait a minute, are you kidding me? from what i've been posting and seeing other fans of floyd post about him is far from belittling his past opponents. what i have seen in this forum is people who hate floyd downtalking his past opponents like claiming he has never fought any goo opponents like zab who was knocked out by carlos who is slow as hell but beat gatti who is a human punching bag, and gatti didn't have a chance against floyd from the start and floyd has been fighting bums for most of his career. i mean, what the hell have you been reading son? you need to take off the sunglasses in the house, and go back and read some more posts because your claim is a bunch of nonsense. floyd fans don't downtalk his opponents, maybe floyd does, but his fans usually don't, not saying all don't, but many don't downtalk his past opponents.

all the floyd detractors on here including yourself i'm sure has downgraded his opponents. so, don't give me this bull**** of floyd's fans doengrading his opponents, because you're confusing them with floyd haters, and you know it.

For some reason, I find that most Mayweather fans on this site, with the exception of a handful or so, are just as arrogant as he is.

Why is that so?

Lets say the Pinoys.. they back their man up 110% but I don't ever see them disrespecting any of his passed, or future opponents. Of course there is pre-fight hype and that build up, but there is no trash talk.

Every upcoming PBF's fight.. Mayweather trashes his opponents and so do you. What happened to respect?

Hatton hasn't said that. He may have mentioned that the stature of Floyd's opponents since he moved up to 140 has been lacking (and I'm not sure you can argue with that: Floyd's resume up to and including lightweight is stellar, after lightweight, not so much) but he's always speaking of Floyd in terms of him being P4P number one in the world.

The trouble with many Floyd fans is that they can't think of a way of building up their guy that doesn't involve putting down his opponents and rivals. And as has been mentioned before they cannot see how statements like "Gatti is a bum, he lost to Mickey Ward LOLZ he is teh ruobish!1" are incompatible with "Floyd beat Gatti, he the champ, he's teh gratest!".

Floyd Mayweather Jr.......as a person ? I could take him, or leave him.
But, as a fighter, I know he is amazing. He is a perfect blend of natural talent & learned skill. His personality has nothing to do with his fighting ability, & his accomplishments. I don't care that he thinks/says he's the best ever, because that doesn't change what he can do in there.

But then if PBF hypes up his opponents before a fight the haters will just say that's bull**** and hate on him for that. Seriously, would you give PBF more credit if he was saying Baldomir was a great champion and Gatti was a great fighter, etc? No, you'd all be ****ting on him for trying to hype them up...

And as far as respect, I think anyone who knows anything about boxing respects Floyd Mayweather as a fighter. They may not like his demeanor, but even some of his biggest haters admire his skills...
