No, I'm saying he's taking on guys he knows he can easily win against. Ones he knows he can beat and look good because they aren't that big a threat to him. Taking on Gatti was a joke. Going down crying like the biggest ***** I've ever seen after beating him acting like he beat the undisputed or a guy that has beaten top dawgs was a ****in joke. Beating Judah after Judah already lost to Carlos meant nothing. Judah has already been a ****in clown for quite some time. Hasn't done anything meaningful except get KOed in the funniest way imaginable. Then he takes on Carlos who was tailor made to show off Floyd's abiltiy. He's slow, not a hard puncher(I don't care that Floyd was moving up), and had so many holes in his style. It woulda been a crime if Floyd didn't win that fight. Floyd will finally be facing someone with a punch, speed, and skills. I really hope Oscar whoops that ass, so he can cry about how he lost to his first great fighter he's taken on.

I agree w/ everything your sayin except the part about Zab. He's a talented Southpaw and was giving MAyweather problems in the begining. If he would have gotten credit for the KD we might have seen MAyweather in panic mode and gotten some real excitement, but give Mayweather a some credit for hangin in there until Zab ignited mentally and Zab the front runner showed up.
The part where he dropped down and started cryin after the gatti mismatch makes me think he's either a big puss/actor or alot more unsure of himself than he lets on.

Mayweather is more complete than DLH. The only advantage DLH enjoys is power. He's going to get his ears boxed off, that's why Roach is trying to goad him into going to war with DLH...

I did not say that mayweather stays entire fights in the pocket, however he does stand in ground in numerous occasions and that includes the Baldomir fight.

as for the manfredy fight... it lasted two rounds for chrissake, less than 6 minutes!

btw he never stood and trade with chicanito either, floyd sr made him very defensive minded. it took a little bit of roger to change that. and of course he never stood and traded with corrales... (why would he ever do that?)

in any case let me point out the following again, being able to do something does not mean you have to do it always. especially if it implies getting hit more. (and standing in the pocket implies getting hit more, even if you are pbf or pea).

hm - i rate pbf's performance against diego corrales as one of the best boxing performances of the last 10 years. he was simply invincible, and given diego's size/strength/power he made diego look like his little *****.

he was breathing hard and was less and less responsive in the corner, his face was busted up, he was not throwing punches. if that is not the picture of a fighter close to being stopped, i dont know what do you want to see

judah was never shaken and never in any danger of been wobbled or hurt. He was hurt more mentally then physically because of all the smack talk floyd said previous. he was looking for a way out...which he somewhat got and it made him take less of a beating. BUT, and this is a big BUT, I still disagree with you about Zab getting stopped. It looked to me near impossible.

i agree. one think is the fact that floyd CAN sit in the pocket and one thing is that he actually DOES stand in the pocket.
