AGREED. Chavez stops Gayweather late in the fight. Too much pressure and a granite chin. Chavez was truly amazing in his prime. Ring magazine rates him the best 140 pounder of all time, as well as, 3rd at 135lbs and 2nd at 130lbs. His early body of work was tremendous and his record is uncomparable. If he was an American boxer he'd be known as one of the GOAT fighters. But true, knowledgeable fight fans know where he stands among boxing's elite, at the top.

Mayweather would use his speed to hit and then slide out of the way and he would do this all night. As for running watch Mayweathers early fights and u can see he loved to sit in the pocket and made oppenents look silly. In the Taylor fight Taylor was busting Chavez up but for some reason decide to trade big mistake. The mayweather fight would look like the early rounds of that fight only Mayweather has better defense. Peace
