If Floyd beats Oscar, there's no doubting his position at #1 in the sport.

I have a feeling Oscar is going to beat him though. Big time.

??? Where do you get "finally stepped in the ring with winky wright" from?

Winky is the one staying in the lower division untill Hopkins was dethroned. Hopkins keep Winky at jr. middleweight. Younger Hopkins would destroy Winky. Now, Hopkins will decicion him. May not be a great action fight but this makes an interesting match up, its going to be great to see Hopkins man handle Winky and put him in his place.

Should be a pretty technical fight which most fight fans would consider boring but as a boxing fan I love to see a great chess match...
Winky doesn't fight chess matchs. Where does this come from? Earlier in his career ok, maybe, but i didn't follow him really early in his fights did you? I can't name a recent fight where Winky boxed, can you?

Given the weight issue, this is a much harder challenge for Winky, especially considering how great Hopkins looked vs. Tarver. Besides, the winner could always fight Taylor at 168 if Calzaghe doesn't fight Taylor or the winner of this fight.
Don't just see it from Winkys point of view. Hopkins is an OLD warriror, and now at his old age he has to come down in weight, this will hurt Hopkins more so then Winky coming up in weight.

Then how is it that you wouldn't then consider Delahoya #1 p4 after beating Floyd?

I don't get how anyone could consider DLH p4p if he beats a smaller fighter in PBF. He beat Mayorga, before that got KOd by BHOP and before that a controversial decision to Sturm. Not p4p material IMO, but then again, boxing is all about $$$.

Much better fight than the Roy Jones deal.

This shows Hopkins isn't just padding his wallet; he might not even be favored in this fight.

Props to Bernard for taking a top p4p'er. This is a good match-up, though I suspect it won't be entertaining to the casual fan...
