Wow......unexpected.Hopkins looked strong when he fought Tarver.......this is a dangerous fight for Winky but I have always wondered how this fight would go down.

i think winky will beat hop(i hate when hop pulls things like this 170 crap..., winkys got some balls take this fight), and if he does so, i think winkys end of career would be great!!!, i mean if he beats hop, he could easily beat de la hoya or mayweather, beat taylor again, beat calzaghe(though stylistically i think calzahe could outwork winky....), AND IF HE DOES, would he be considered as the best fighter of this era???

        sugar shane mosleyx2
        Tito Trinidad
        Jermaine Taylor(though he was robbed)
        harry simon(though he was robbed)
oscar de la hoya(or maybe Floyd Mayweather)
        Bernard Hopkins
        Joe Calzaghe

that would be one hell of a resume, and we could also consider that he arguably has lost 1 fight in his entire career when he was an inexperienced 8 round fighter against one of the best 154lb fighters(though i think he won that two, even with the knockdowns, he outclassed vazquez....)

Hopkins inside work can prove winky's downfall.
But I am not making any predictions yet.

I might get this because Im interested to see just how BHop will fight him. Right now I have it a Winky UD eventhough 170 is a little high.

                  sure is. we have:

                  hatton vs castillo
                  winky vs hopkins
taylor vs calzaghe ( if it comes off )
