Mosley vs Cotto

"Sugar" Shane Mosley by a unanimous decision. Cotto's body shots are definately a factor in the fight but I doubt he'd be able to land enough of them to wear Mosley out. Shane's too quick and too experienced, Cotto would be mentally defeated after the first 6 rounds.

thing is im not even sure if cotto hits much harder if harder at all at 147... hes gonna be the better body puncher for sure but mosley IMO is more dangerous to the head. Torres showed that cotto isnt the hardest puncher(though i think hes the best body puncher). I just dont think cotto's strength advantage is big enough to compensate for the difference in speed and skills and experience. Mosley by UD

Puncher? Id actually favour Cotto now, slightly! Shane is wicked to the body but Miguel is better, and i still hav this image of Mosley Yelping out loud when Viper tagged him to the ribs along the ropes And even Vargas was slowing him down in the 1st fight with his downstaires work.

Cotto would have to up his game against Shane for sure but if u look at his earlyier fights his defence was amazeing, He duz seem a lil more reckless these days, KO crazy but against a TOP fighter i think he'd tighten up his D

Im of the opinion Cotto's chin is sound, but yeah Mosley has the power to hurt him. For me its a Cotto Win, I just hope we get to find out! I dont see it happining tho, Bob and Oscar r to much of ***gots!

Toss up for me Im not sure if Shane has faced anyone with the raw power of Cotto. Shane is probably the best combination puncher in the game right now. It's a pick em fight for me but I would lean more toward shane because he is the more experienced of the two. Too bad Arum is a jack ass and this fight will probably never happen. But who knows maybe it will.

man, cotto isnt that big of a name outside of P.R and on the coasts.
the guy is good but with his midget 66inch reach and at this time unproven boxing skills(look who he's fought) he has slightly more than a little chance against top contenders at 147.
and i like him but i'm not going to suck on a pipe dream.
he's almost top tier now but with the bigboys at welter he's just a name that could bring them easier money than facing each other.period.

man... one of many things i'm saying is there is no one cotto has fought yet that matches what shanes been thru. the sportsbookies love guys like cotto who has a big following and are overrated. on paper he's still an up and comer.
margarito,williams,judah beats his ass.
just look at who he's fought.
you may be suffering from the hope of a second tito. and tito melted against top tier boxers.
cottos dangerous to all but only has a punchers chance against top tiers.
