man... one of many things i'm saying is there is no one cotto has fought yet that matches what shanes been thru. the sportsbookies love guys like cotto who has a big following and are overrated. on paper he's still an up and comer.

Margarito and Williams Definatley dont win against Cotto! Juadh has a chance but id pick Cotto. Cotto hasnt fought any1 near Shanes level, granted, but every1 has to make the step up sum time man. I think he's ready! Also people forget, Cotto can box very well himself when it takes him, he just seems a bit KO crazy at the momentComment

Your not to bright now are you. You talk about who has Cotto beaten and have that as the cornerstone of your arguement as why its "Ridiculus" that we think Cotto would win vs Shane. Then you say that Williams would beat Cotto
. Now by your very own hypocritic standards who has Williams beat? Or do you base all your predictions on which fighter has the better reach advantage

Cotto is without an opponent for June, Mosley says he wants to fight in June...hmmmm. Too bad the two most stubborn, selfish people in the sport (Arum and DLH) won't put this together for the fans. If it went the distance then Mosley by close decision, but Cotto has a good chance of stopping Mosley, IMO. With Mosley's weak, pawing jab, Cotto could get inside and do work to the body easily.Comment

WINKY has great defense coming foward and was bigger .. forrest was bigger and longer. Cotto is the same size and not always in great shape, Has Too Many Holes In His Defense And Shane Is To Fast And Explosive With Straight Shots To Exploit Them ..Comment

I think something there is something about Mosley that is similar to Corrales. If he is in with a boxer he will box but if he is in with a puncher he often stands his ground and trades with the guy much more so than he should. Something of the warrior spirit they have I assume. I think that gives Cotto a better chance of winning also the fact that Mosley got hit cleanly with a few straight lefts. If Cotto changed to Southpaw periodically he could land that also and he has a lot more power than Collazo.
As far as the probability of them fighting....hmm, I dont know but I would wager that Shane would want to keep the fight in Vegas and not MSG. Also remember that Cotto is trying to fight at MSG for the weekend of PR Parade.
I just dont know how much money there is for this fight if its not in Vegas. I think Mosley wants one more SUPER PAYDAY of 8 million or more and he is hoping PBF will give it to him. I think if Cotto and Arum can put something close to that on the table Mosley will take it. However the Arum/GBP relationship is an X factor.Comment
