Would an MMA fighter constrained to boxing rules compete well? Of course not,his striking skills wouldnt cut it.Would a boxer untrained for MMA styles compete well? OF COURSE NOT.

boxing has it fans and UFC has it fans. it depends on your preferance that nobody have control of. each one has his own rules which makes it approipate for some people

i more into boxing but i would like to fight with BJJ or other martial arts but didnt like the UFC as much as boxing as a sport

If Floyd would fight sumone his weight he would end the fight in seconds. People dont get Boxers can KO sumone with a punch in seconds.

IM not saying MMA dont, but they have to train for grapples and kicks (also when his opponent pins him down with his nuts rubbing on his face jk), and a boxer has been training all his life to just use his hands.

So i believe, lets say Jermain Taylor vs. the Iceman would fight. Jermain would jab once and then hit him with a cross and its lights out.
