Floyd(idiot) insults UFC on interview, should keep his mouth shut

Im very casual boxing fan but a huge MMA fan, I just read this interview on yahoo sports.

Floyed tells the camera man who is wearing a UFC T-shirt that boxing is a art and the UFC is a fad. Just want to get some boxing fans opinion on this.

In my opinion, Floyed comes off sounding like a idiot. Considering that MMA uses discplines like judo, BJJ, Muay Thai that have been around for many many years. I say that Floyd stops calling himself a figher and calls himself a boxer. Cause thats what he is and in a real fight he wouldnt last a minute with MMA fighter (fighter being the key word)

Boxing is an art. And there is more skill needed.
Boxing is hit and not get hit,
Ufc is hitting and hit back harder.
Mixed martial arts is getting to be worst then boxing how many diffrent leagues are there now? Its like every two weeks there's a new one.

Oh ignornat boxing fan. How can boxing require more skill when a top MMA fighter has to train kickboxing, wrestling, Jiu Jitsu. I would think that requires more skill. There really arent that many leagues.

Floyd wouldnt fight a guy like bj penn or kid yamamoto, he would be made to look silly and get exposed. They would make him look bad.
