Im talking about PRIME Foreman.
The Foreman who disposed of Fraizer in 2 rounds.
He was bigger, stronger, packed a bigger punch and had a better chin that Lewis.
Horrible matchup for Lennox.Comment

Id agree with that.
Many of the greats have taken big shots and have been in trouble, but survived.
How many of the truly great heavyweights were KO'd twice with single shots?
We're talking about Lewis, within the rules, he was stopped. His legs were giving way as he protested. His cornermen did not attempt to argue with the ref.He wasnt knocked out, he was up at 6, the ref stopped the count at 8, Larry Holmes was in the same condition when he got up from Shavers knockdown, he got the benifit of the doubt, Evander holyfield got up at 9 and a half against Bowe and was given until 15 before the ref waved the fight on!!!! What about Ai needing an extra minute in his corner and some smelling salts to recover from being knocked down by henry cooper.

Foreman was not bigger than Lewis.
Punching power is debatable. Foreman had less one shot power, but his hands were just incredibly heavy and he had that clubbing sort of power.Comment

At 6'3" and 217, he may have had a bigger punch and chin than Lewis, but there's no freaking way he was bigger and stronger. You need to either get off the drugs or get back on your meds.Comment

The thing that puts Lewis' status as a top 5er in doubt is not the fact that he got knocked out twice in early rounds from relative journeymen. Its the fact that the reason that happened was because of over-confidence, complacency and perhaps even a lack of heart. Many good champions underestimated their opponents and got caught cold, but the truly great ones got up and ground out a result.
Lewis didnt really ever show that ability.Comment
