Solis has nothing to lose if Pac defeats him but gains a lot if he wins. As far as Pac, the way his actions is going right now, i see Solis pulling an upset. Remember how Pac beat MAB, there will be no KO but Solis will win unanimously. Unless Pac wisen up and get serious.

i think it part of the Arum magic going on to protect his fighters
how can that be?? if so.. why did he pit morales against pac twice?? LOL
maybe you can say that arum wanted it for the money. its an explosive fight that will attract a lot of ppv. but on the other hand, why is he doing this now??

maybe its manny's decision to fight a lesser opponent for he has a much bigger opponent in this coming elections. LOL

That's an opinion backed up with a fact so no problem, I'm ammenable because an upset is a real posibilty here considering these factors:

1] Pac's head is all screwed up because of his political ambition, he's not phychologically prepared

2] He has shortened his training to just 3 weeks, which puts his physical preparedness also in question, considering that he has been staying up late nights again for some other activities

3] It's Justine Fortune training him and not Roach

. . . but to say that he's gonna lose because Solis is the second coming of JMM is just plain ******. And believe me it's not gonna be easy, even an out of shape Pac can give Solis a very hard fought battle.

That's exactly my point. That's a plain HYPE. Considering the quality of opponents he has fought.

I haven't seen Solis in action, but Pac is a ***** for running for mayor. He could easily have done this after his career in the ring. His expiration date in the ring is short, considering his fighting style. He can't turn back the clock. His peak is now...He should be looking for the best possible fights out there. Valero, Soto or the lightweights..Casa, baby bull, Freitas. So many good fights out there for him...

I can see criticizing a fighter if they take multiple consecutive easy fights and they're a title holder. That said, Pacquiao was not considered the all-out favorite in his fights with Morales. Further, regardless of what we say now Larios was considered a live opponent at the time.

So is Manny making a punk move? No, he's taking a lazy fight to make some easy money. If he does this often then we can make an issue of it. Every fighter is allowed one tune-up now and then.

Well keep defending him, Pac will never have the same set of balls like Morales and Barrera.

balls as in comparing quality of opposition? I have major respect for Morales and Barrera, but both didn't seem to want no part of JMM...Barrera vs Marquez is about four years or more overdue. Who has Pacquiao ducked? Barrera, Marquez, Morales in less than two years...that's some big cajones...

yeah, i agree a fight with juan diaz is good fight. pac said he can beat diaz. now is the time to prove it. if he cant fight gbp's marquez and barrera then he should fight diaz or maybe joan guzman.
