Cool, man. I just think it's not worth asking. Pacquiao is a fighter, and he's one of the best in the world. Not just when he's fighting the big fights.

Pacquiao is going to lose his next fight no matter who the opponent is.

Not trying to make excuses but he has totally lost hunger in the fight game. He wants to pick an easy opponent and make the date earlier so that Pac will have time to campaign as Mayor of his town in General Santos city. Boxing is 75% mental, 25% physical(from Teddy Atlas )

Any decent opponent would beat Pac right now, let alone, MAB, JMM, Guzman, Valero. I think we will see Pac destroyed or upset by a lesser opponent in 2007.

hmmmm i see what you're saying but I don't think he's lost his focus in boxing, he just wants to broaden his horizons. Still, I don't see how he could be mayor of that city and also train hard for 10 weeks...

that's it. there's no way he could handle both in this short period of time. i can't still comprehend why he wants to focus on politics when he needs to do his thing as a boxer.

he's still too young to enter politics, considering he's still very much active in boxing.

to me this guy is more dangerous because he is hungry for that spotlight...remember pacman was unknown when he fought ledwaba.

its funny how you guys say this guy aint tough thats the problem...how can a guy get a name? if you guys wont let them.

how else do fighters get names? by fighting tough oppositions and this is solis chance to shine so i dont think this is a walk in the park.
il just reply to this by what chups said but you chose 2 ignore

so Pacman goes on a tear, fighting a string of tough fights vs top contenders, durable champions, HOFers, etc with passion/risk/excitement and all of a sudden he is a ***** for taking a break?

Wow...that is like people bashing Taylor for possibly taking a low profile fight for his next fight after fighting Hopkins x2, Winky and Ouma...

how many great fighters in history fought low profile fights in between mega fights? practically all of them...history remembers the tough opponents on your record...not whether you fought them back to back to back to back to back in one year...

if barrera was fightin this guy he would be gettin flamed so pacmans not gettin off easily either, to be honest this is bob arums fault aswell as pacmans, i mean for a start he should have signed to GBP anyway!!! they got the better fighters there for pacquiao, also bob arum said he had a list of 9-10 top opponents for pacman, and in the end he got this guy, i dont wanna hear **** like solis is hungry, he will be dangerous for pacman, etc... thats just excuses, barrera was gettin flamed for takin on fana, even peden in between his tough fights with morales and juarez, yet when pacman takes this type of figth people are makin excuses and sayin stuff like he needs a break, etc...

                  talk about double standards

Pac has already faced and beaten elite competition. He deserves to get some easy fights here and there. He has already beaten better fighters than some fighters have in their whole career ( Roy Jones)
