Does the nationality of a boxer matter to you?

Of course nationality is going to play a role in who you like. Local fighters are the ones you see coming up through the ranks, And guys from your country are the ones you see on TV when they start making a name for themselves. If you like what you see, then you become a fan. If they showed more guys from other countries on your TV then its more likely they would get more international fans too.

Surely it just comes down to their style and skill as a fighter.
For me, living it the UK, it never mattered. I always wanted Tyson to beat the **** outa Bruno, and was never a huge fan of Lewis. It just came down to styles.

Sure I grew up watching Ukrainian fighters. They represent my country of origin on the world stage, they rep my culture. So sure I'll be biased towards them.

For me, it matters ONLY WHEN THEY ARE ARMENIAN.
If the fighter isnt Armenian, then it really dont matter what he is, as long as he can fight.
