Look at this situation from Margarito's point of view: The biggest pay day of his life is sitting there in front of him in Miguel Cotto. He could play it safe drop his mandatory and belt, get called a coward and a hypocrite by boxing analysts and swallow it down or take the Williams fight and a big chance that if he loses that whole payday and the shine of his boxing career will be gone. I highly doubt Margarito is scared of Paul Williams but probably more scared of making the wrong choice that would affect him for the rest of his life.

Well the difference is, Floyds mandatory was the chump mark Suaraz.
Tony's mandatory is a legitimate contender.
And Tony is makingn more money against Williams then he is against Cotto.

I still have a feeling the fight won't happen. I think Margarito's people want it because it's more money than Cotto, but I don't think Arum wants it to happen because he won't get paid since he's not promoting it and he won't have a good opponent lined up for Cotto at MSG...

You ***** that he wasn't gonna fight him and take on a tougher opponent in Cotto that means more, not to mention Cotto is a more credible fighter and now if he does fight him your just gonna find somethingh else to ***** about.
