I highly doubt Margarito is scared of Paul Williams but probably more scared of making the wrong choice that would affect him for the rest of his life.
Thank You exactly what I have been saying!!!! Excellent Post!!!!! You can't say Margarito is ducking Wiliams when he is considering opting to take a major step up in competition and fight a tougher more credible fighter which will get him more recognition if he wins and ultimatly get him the types of fights he is looking for. Fighting Williams is high risk low reward, and if he beats him everyone will just say that Williams was unproven and green. He won't get any recognition for fightin an unproven fighter. How many fighters take that big of a risk as a tune up and risk the biggest payday of your life. No fighter or at least not very many. It kills me that Floyd pulls this **** all the time against lesser opposition and it is considerd " A GOOD BUSINESS DECISION" or "SMART CAREER MOVE" . It's bull**** and I hope he fights him and shuts people up. I wouldn't consider myself a huge Margarito fan but I have more respect for him fighting a Cotto than Floyd taking on a limited Baldomir.

it doesn't make sense from a career perspective unless williams is a bigger name. cotto is a megafight because of his skills and his name. right now williams is just a lot of hype ( from a belt holder's perspective, not mine )
