ali talked **** to win the mental war. He did it to get an advantage over his opponents.

Why does Mayweather talk ****? only to piss of the fighter and his fans. He has no motive.

And half things he says arent even true... He loves himself to the point where he thinks HE sold out his fight in 3 hours, and HE could sell out the MEN arena in the UK, when he cant sell 10,000 seats in his own ****in hometown.

Uh... so when Ali calls Sonny Liston "Ugly" or when he calls Joe Frazier a "Gorilla", it's to win a mental battle.

And when Mayweather calls Hatton "Fat", it's only to piss him off.

Dude, Ali was one of the most hated fighters of his era before he almost got sent to prison. People didn't like all the **** he talked because he would go in the ring and back up his smack. He probably divided boxing fans back then the same way guys like Toney and Mayweather do now. I mean, Ali was calling guys all sorts of names and I think he was calling Frazier an Uncle Tom, which is like the worst insult you can give a black guy. And Ali told everyone he was the Great of All Time every chance he'd get. He is by far the biggest **** talker I have ever seen, but he is respected for what he did outside the ring. Take that away from him and he's no different from Mayweather or Toney...

And Corrales and Chavez threw the towel in. I mean, corrales hardly looked buzzed. He was just startled by mayweathers speed. I thought it was a terrible stoppage. At least let the guy lose a decision.

And chavez got stopped in round 8 or 9. By down the stretch i mean rounds 10, 11, or 12.

He could have stopped JUDAH and BALDOMIR. didnt even try. Felt better making a ****** excuse at the end of the fight.

I dont even hate Mayweather. I enjoy watching him fight. But he has gone to far this time.

Comparing Floyd to Ali is terrible. Floyd has absolutely none of the charm, wit or personality of Ali.

Ali and Frazier's feud was a race thing, in a racial time, where Ali was deeply offended by Frazier calling him "Clay" and also with Frazier's alleged immorality and indifference to socio-economic problems at the time for blacks.

I mean, it's just a COMPLETELY different situation and no relevance whatsoever to Floyd and Hatton.

never mentioned ali at all. But he was a great champion because he was good for boxing. He respected his opponents in the ring and he fought his guts out. ANd the **** talking ALI did, that was to win the mental battle. Mayweather just talks **** for ****s sake.

I guess when you do the Ali shuffle and talk **** to your opponents during a fight, you can call that respectful. They both talk **** for the mental edge. Floyd trains like a madman because he respects his opponents. I'm sure he trained just as hard for Bruseles as he will for DLH, but he never fails to give his opponents props once the fight is over...

Floyd stopped basically everyone he faced at his natural weight class. His power went down in higher weights, so of course he's not going to be KOing everyone. But when a KO is there, he definetely goes after it. And of course you must be forgetting the stoppages of Corrales and Chavez...

He has amazing skills obviously. Its a wonder to watch. But his disrespect is to much already. He should learn to shutup. Talk when he needs to talk. Take a ****in note from ALI.

How is dancing to avoid punches disrespectful? He is ****y, and thats what i love about him. But after the fight, he hugs the guy. AFter he knocks a guy out he encourages that guy to keep fighting. AFter he loses, he shows his respect.

Mayweather doesnt do that in the ring, and he MOST certainly doesnt do that outside of the ring.

AUGUSTUS is a class act. As respectful as they come. He is ****y in the ring, but he more then makes up for it outside of the ring.

I mean, after laughing in WARDS face after every round, they hug at the end of the fight. AND after the decision. AND they are still great friends.

The only friend that was an opponent that Mayweather has is CORELY, and thats only because CORELY wants to stay Mayweathers sparring partney
