You don't gotta be nice to be a champion...

Floyd Mayweather is absolutely none of that.

Being a champion takes more then skill.

It takes passion and respect. No matter how talented Mayweather is, he will never be a true champion in my eyes
Glad you have respect for LaMotta since he beat his wife and treated her like utter ****...

Also, Ray Robinson was pretty conceited and didn't give a **** about the fans. He turned down Muhammad Ali's request for an autograph when Ali was just a kid...

Speaking of Ali, he was the biggest **** talker in the history of the sport. I wonder how people would feel about him if he didn't fight the draft especially considering he was a member of the Nation of Islam when it was considered a hate group...

But of course these are true champions and Mayweather is not...

Yeah, but I'm going by your logic.

Using your logic, that still doesn't make him a "true champion", right?

Or do you just like to contradict yourself by making exceptions based on your own biased opinions?

never mentioned ali at all. But he was a great champion because he was good for boxing. He respected his opponents in the ring and he fought his guts out. ANd the **** talking ALI did, that was to win the mental battle. Mayweather just talks **** for ****s sake.

Mayweather talks to the announcers during fights, talks **** about guys he knocked out moments ago, and has never stopped a world class opponent down the stretch, when he has softened his opponent for the stoppage so well.

He has amazing skills obviously. Its a wonder to watch. But his disrespect is to much already. He should learn to shutup. Talk when he needs to talk. Take a ****in note from ALI.

ANd Lamotta was a humble, talented fighter who fought with as much passion and heart as he could. Who cares about his personal life.

If that had to do with being a champion, i would have brought up the wife Mayweather beat up, and the two women at the nightclub that he beat up.

ali talked **** to win the mental war. He did it to get an advantage over his opponents.

Why does Mayweather talk ****? only to piss of the fighter and his fans. He has no motive.

And half things he says arent even true... He loves himself to the point where he thinks HE sold out his fight in 3 hours, and HE could sell out the MEN arena in the UK, when he cant sell 10,000 seats in his own ****in hometown.

Dude, Ali was one of the most hated fighters of his era before he almost got sent to prison. People didn't like all the **** he talked because he would go in the ring and back up his smack. He probably divided boxing fans back then the same way guys like Toney and Mayweather do now. I mean, Ali was calling guys all sorts of names and I think he was calling Frazier an Uncle Tom, which is like the worst insult you can give a black guy. And Ali told everyone he was the Great of All Time every chance he'd get. He is by far the biggest **** talker I have ever seen, but he is respected for what he did outside the ring. Take that away from him and he's no different from Mayweather or Toney...

LOL, wait did you just say Ali respected his opponents in the ring? You do realize you're talking about the guy who invented the "Ali Shuffle" the same move used to MOCK opponents.

You do know you're talking about Ali, the same Ali who said such hateful, wicked things about Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and Floyd Patterson YEARS after their fights.
