So it's ok for Hatton to turn down Witter to instead fight Urango and NDou?

I dont know man. Mayweather did this fight for the public. He took the fight at 154, he agreed to use Reyes Gloves, and agreed to the 10 million while DLH takes the lions share. All of these things leave mayweather at a disadvantage (with the exception of the money issue, since money is money), but id like you to name one time where Hatton put himself at a disadvantage for the sake of making a good fight for the general public. I still am in disbielef Tszyu had to go to England to defend HIS lineal title.

Well of course Hatton will turn NDou down if we keep voicing our disapproval in threads like this. Message boards control the sports world right now. Why do you think I made the thread? I don't want to see Hatton fight NDou any more than I wanted to see him fight Urango. Hatton is staying away from Mayweather, hoping Floyd loses in the meantime. I think it's pretty obvious. How else do you explain turning Mayweather down twice?

That is a dreadfully lame attempt at backtracking.

I'm not backtracking. I think Hatton's career is becoming a joke. Thought so before the thread, still think so now.

Ndou is not a pushover though. He is a very tough opponent but, I step down for Hatton.

No way did Mayweather take the De La Hoya fight for the public! Are you insane!? He's taken it for a career high payday and for the chance to fight the most popular man in boxing today!

LOL Exactly. Mayweather has never done anything except for Mayweather. Career-high payday, career-high exposure, career-high NAME on his resume. I mean, did he expect that DLH for some reason WOULDN'T retain the lion's share? And if so, PLEASE explain that for me.

There's nothing about this fight that's a sacrifice for Mayweather except the weight, which should still fit fine on Mayweather's large frame. DLH isn't that much "bigger" than him.

LOL The absurdity of somehow painting Mayweather as some boxing altruist for taking the DLH fight.... Truly insane.... LOL

his career is fast becoming a JOKE... I mean why does he only fight Guys coming off a loss.. or who were beaten by the GUYS he turned down.. or are at the end of their carreers???
When did PBF turned down any of those guys you've mentioned??? All 3 guys have turned down PBF, Tyszu didn't want to fight PBF, so PBF went after Gatti the other champ! Hatton said he needed 2 more years and have turned down PBF more then once, Mosely just turned down PBF before the Baldy fight.

Don't attempt to retaliate because they beat better competition than Hamed ever attempted to fight (outside of Barrera)
