Is this a joke? I mean his career is seriously becoming laughable. He is so full of contradictions it's baffling. He turns down Witter, who has called him out for years, but who Hatton says isn't a big enough name and instead fights Urango and NDou who are much bigger unknowns? If he's fighting Castillo over Witter, fine, but NDou? The backlash he's gonna receive for this will be off the charts.

Not to mention, Witter beat NDou over a year ago and knocked him down a couple times!

From what I gather this is all nonsense spewed by the president of the IBF. Insiders have said that it's unlikely.

                Two points.

1). None of this is even confirmed yet. Why risk making yourself look like a moron over speculation that will be confirmed or denied soon. Could you really not hold the diatribe in?

2). You lost me at "His career is seriously becoming laughable". As that point I immediately realised that you were another one of the 'over-exaggerators' who cannot make a serious point without taking it to ridiculous extremes these forums seem to attract. I dont think that a career with no losses, no draws and over 40 wins, containing many title belts and spanning more than one weight division at the age of 28 can be considered 'seriously laughable' by any sane persons judgement.

Hatton can turn down Witter if he wants and it dont make him a joke. Hes vacated more belts than Witter has won. Hatton turned down Witter because Witter has talked crap about Hatton in the past and Hatton doesnt exactly need Witters belt.
Any average boxer if they gave up a belt may be viewed as ******ed because they may never ever be good enough to get a belt again, but Hatton has regained belts on a few occasions so shows his pedigree. Beating Collazo at 147, dropping back down to 140 and then winning a belt again. Not any average boxer can do these kind of things. Especially from a british boxer, so it is a major achievement.

But Hatton maybe boxing Castillo afterall.
