Is it OK for Floyd Mayweather to turn down The Tszyus Mosleys and Hattons of this world.. and instead fight guys Like Gatti.. Corely and Agustus and call himself a CHAMP??

his career is fast becoming a JOKE... I mean why does he only fight Guys coming off a loss.. or who were beaten by the GUYS he turned down.. or are at the end of their carreers???

For one, Mayweather never, ever ever turned down a fight with Hatton, Mosley, or Kostry Tszyu. None of those guys at any point any any of their careers ever made a serious bid to fight mayweather. Mosley and Hatton have both turned mayweather down, both as recently as the november date to which both of them admitted that they had no intrest in fighting him, in hattons case, they simply said they were gonna take the mandatory defense against otay urkal, and then simplyu opted to run back down to 140. Thats ridiculous. At no point was Tszyu ever going to get in the ring with Floyd. Thats just ridiculous.

Because its the same with someone who repeadedly says they are going to buy your playstation 2 off of you, and they either make a ridiculous demand on price, or they simply keep flaking on you, or just plain tell you they are gonna buy one off someone else.

Im pretty sure youd stop asking that person to buy the ps2 off you at that point. Mayweather says alot of ****** things, but i do think his additude on Hatton's team constantly playing the same game over and over is likely genuine. I mean, look at this, its announced that the castillo/hatton fight will likely happen in the summer, then you throw in this "I WILL DEFEND MY IBF BELT" ****, and you get to wondering if the fight will even happen. Hattons team are just terrible in my opinion.

Well, in a Sky interview today, Hatton said it looks like he might have to drop the IBF belt and fight Castillo as NDou is not part of the big league. So, looks like this thread will have to close.

The SOLE purpose of HATTONS fight with URANGO was to get that IBF title.

Why would he just give it up now? IT would defeat the purpose of him fighting and training for URANGO.
