Are Negritos considered black race? They are from the Philippines though not Africa. I had a couple of classmates growing up that were part negrito in the P.I. and I never thought of them as black, just really dark nappy haired pinoys..

The negritos native in the P.I. came originally from Africa. They travelled by boat and reached the islands looooooong time ago.

They're Africans and Americans, but not African-Americans. Barack ***** isn't an African American, he is both American and African however.

The term"African-American" is starting to creep into usage in Canada. A friend of mine hates it. SHe was called "African Canadian" and she went ballistic. "I'm no African!" she said "I'm Jamaican!". Most of the black guys I know in Britain or in Canada prefer the term "black" to any erronious geographical placing. I mean I don't go calling myself European Canadian!
