I think Oscar made the correct decision by picking Freddie Roach to train him for this fight and probably would have been better off if he had chosen Freddie 3 years ago.

I don't know what Floyd Sr teaches his fighters in the gym but it had better be something special because his best advice for his fighters between rounds seems to be "Hit that ****ing ***** man, he's a *****!"

I really don't know what Oscar saw in him.

You people never cease to amaze me.

You trash Iceman for his opinions.....of Mayweathers Opinions.....using your own opinions.

      Stunningly idiotic.

Mayweather Sr. is a douchebag and always has been...in almost EVERY public forum he has ever been a part of. Everyone outside of the Mayweather Jr. testicle leech club knows that.

As for the asinine "Take it to Boxtalk" or whatever. Why? I want to read that stuff RIGHT here. Where I am a member. And get to watch Cortdawg and all the other tards that want to outlaw opinons under the status "Hater" get all uncomfortable whever someone questions their hero.

And just for future reference....this IS a public forum. Mayweather Sr. could come and defend himself if he wasnt to busy pricing himself out of the biggest fight of his career or slinging rocks. Good thing he has such bright fanboys to do it for him I guess.

You have the right to insult or defend whatever fighters you want. Just like the rest of us do.

It's not about defending him,its about defending a trainer's right to be upset that he is not getting paid as he should be. Teddy Atlas knows about that as well, for he went through something similar when his fighter was slated to face SRL back in the day. However, he was dropped and replaced before the fight and lost out on one of his potential biggest paydays as a trainer.

Does Mayweather have a point though, and that's how you going to drop him over a pitty money dispute, when he was not even slated to make 10% of ODL's purse. Is that not the unwritten rule that trainers should atleast make that much,no matter what the purse is? Maybe Senior is right and Oscar is 2 tight with his money, and using his power to dictate what old school trainers would frown upon.
          its a fairness dispute correct?

Sr. didnt make DLH.... if anything DLH made Sr. and any potentially profitable future fighters that come to him for training are almost sure to be attracted to him by the fact he trained DLH and DLH said he was the best trainer ever.

Despite the fact many dont believe Sr. actually ever helped DLH any.

In my opinion DLH's earlier trainers have way more merit to complain than does Sr.

I have to agree with that. DLH was alreay a "finished product" when he was trained by PBF Sr.

Where the hell are those shoulder rolls and sliding punches that Sr. is talking about? I definitely didn't see that on DLH.

Skip Mayweather, Skip Roach, If Oscar wanted the best he would have gone with Dan Goosen. Listen to him in between rounds, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Oscar is cheap because he didnt want to pay a guy 2 MILLION to train him????? 500 G's wasnt enough?????? Thats crazy. And let me tell u another thing... Floyd Sr keeps talking about his sons style like it is some sort of NASA/CIA secret that only Yoda and his use of the force can figure out. Its ridiculous. Floyd Sr. is the master at that style, no? Well 8 guys figured that out and 2 of them stopped him doing it.
