He may be an ass personally but I think he deserves some credit as a trainer. He contributed to make Floyd Jr what he is today.

      Mayweather SR.

I think that Mayweather SR. and Jr. where trying to play Delahoya with his money. How can you thrust a trainer which the guy that his training is fighting his son. I mean there alot of emotion and thoughts from where he was a kid to the things that they did together. Family is stronger than friendship and where there's money also it makes things a little more interesting. Delahoya did the right thing by letting MAY SR. go. He is also very disrepecful to everyone. I always knew he was a joke when he was training Panchito before and left him right in the middle of his training before the fight with Leija.

I also think that if Hoya would of gotten May SR. to train him there would of being a big family gathering at Mrs mayweather house.

I get on Mayweather when he does ugly, arrogant, nasty things.....so he can say these thigngs and not be called on them? LOLOL U know what is funny? You know what is the most ridiculous word ever invented?? HATER. What a joke. HATER, Please. So if someone has a negative opinion on something or someone else ...he is a HATER? If I say I think a particular singer sounds terible I am a HATER? It cant just be what it is? That I think he or she sounds bad? I dont come here and trash the guy for no reason....man, look and listen to HIS words...he is the BIGGEST HATER ON THE PLANET EARTH BUT ITS OK????? Please. Mayweather Sr. is the biggest "hater" known to man...but it's OK? STOP
WHEN and where did he say anything about Roach's career boxing because I didn't read that. I read that he said somethings about his training career, but not his fight career. Fact is Oscar has technically been a better boxer since being with Floyd Sr. You just be hating too tough, and u right Floyd Sr was hating too, but atleast he did it where ROACH could defend himself. You snaking right now!!

I think you are wrong..Blood is Thicker than Water, Mayweather wanted big dollars to make Dela Hoya the only fighter to ever beat Floyd...On top of that This will be probably the biggest payday ever for anyone involved in the fight, so Mayweather wanted to cash in, since it was going to be his inside knowledge that helped oscar win the fight... It's just like coaching against you old team, you know all of their faults... Now oscar has lost any slight edge he might have had, because I highly doubt Freddie Roach is a better trainer than Mayweather Sr. who has been training Oscar for teh past few years, Floyd should hire his dad so they can both celebrate when he whoops on De la Hoya...

The big question is Delahoya going to sign Floyd to Golden Boy Promotions also after Floyd taps that ass...

MAYWEATHER SR DEFINITELY DID TALK very badly ABOUT ROACH AS A BOXER... LOOK ON-LINE, IT ALL CAME OUT TODAY. And why is it a big deal for you that I state my opinion ... what are u saying... because I AM IN THE GAME I AM SUPPOSED TO HAVE EVERYTHING I say on fight news or something? I am here in the same capacity as you are...a boxing fan that watches boxing and comments..but in my book I will have every single issue with Sr in regard to what he said today

I been saying the same for years, Sr. was never an asset to DLH and made certain fights harder for him than had DLH stuck to his old style.

Your only as good as your last fight right? So how is that going to make Roach look in the eyes of his critics. Tony lost badly, and yet the trainer has to be held accountable to some degree for that,no?

Does Mayweather have a point though, and that's how you going to drop him over a pitty money dispute, when he was not even slated to make 10% of ODL's purse. Is that not the unwritten rule that trainers should atleast make that much,no matter what the purse is? Maybe Senior is right and Oscar is 2 tight with his money, and using his power to dictate what old school trainers would frown upon.
