Williams and then Cotto back-to-back would be more dangerous than any back-to-back fights Mayweather ever had. Period.
Williams is just a freak that nobody wants to matchup with, and Cotto has become a total pro, and probably the most relentless, hardest body puncher at his weight.Comment

Like I have said before I am willing to fight any fighter. Paul Williams has talked a lot, even through the elbows. Those are first to go down, the ones that talk a lot are the one that fall the hardest. But who is Paul Williams? I don't know how he got to be the #1 mandatory. I don't know who he has beaten, who he has fought to get there, he hasn't fought anybody. But people talk a lot. That I am afraid to fight him. Right now we are trying to take advantage of the title. This is a sport and it is also a business. There has been a lot of talk of a fight with Miguel Cotto. That is the one they have offered for June. I have said that if they really want me to fight Paul Williams and like Paul Williams says that he can beat me and that I don't want to fight him, then put the money on the table. Obviously if they offer me more money to fight Cotto, I'm going to fight Cotto; I want to take advantage of my title. I would definitely fight Cotto or if they say that they are going to offer me more money to fight Paul Williams I would fight Paul Williams. Its not about fear. That's the least of my worries. I have faced better fighters than Paul Williams. I say it again, who is Paul Williams? He got to be the #1 mandatory but I don't know how. We are willing to fight him as long as the money is there.
Margarito is asking who is Paul Williams? Talk about irony...

well lets see something pratical Margarito is too slow and not a p4p fighter well does he deserve a p4p money like Cotto, Mayweather..etc
I dont care if where Margarito fighting if he think he is using his size at 147 or couldnt make it with the big boys at 154 but for Mayweather to go on weightclass very fast and winning titles is something amazing.
I respect Margarito i know the guy got chin and power but that does not win you fight and even speed does not win you fights. What wins you fight is metanlitiy, logic and ring smartness. THe mind is greater then all of this but you also have to work you body to be what you want to beComment

Mayweather's resume ****s all over Margarito's, I can't believe we're making a comparison here. How about telling Margarito to move up 4 weight classes, fighting guys 20 pounds heavier than him(like Floyd) instead of fighting nobodies who are 20 pounds lighter, with Williams being probably his biggest test yet, in which he will fail. why because they dont really pay my bills if i lost. They dont pay my bills if i am all ****ed up like the G-Man.
and hell with the HOF because in a few years time people will remeber you once in a while that was a good fighter and a good person even when you where pro you ****ed up many people.
people you have to judge the fighter and not the person in the ring because that is on the one who is going to win or lose. I see floyd way of training and it looks he really want it that bad even after so many years. It's hard to stay undeafted with many list of good fighter there.
if someone questioned floyd last couple of oppent then they must question the WBC and other belts organization because holding the belt means something if it was Gatti using his force and getting it by blood or Baldomir long journey that ended when he fought Mayweather.Comment
