Tszyu would have been a nice add to his record also if he was at that devision at that time around 03 or somewhere around that time.

the fight was close and could have gone either way, floyd never looked that bad or had never been in a fight so close so it looked worse on floyds part

Hatton ducked Mayweather and Arum wouldn't put Cotto in with Mayweather, so why are you even bringing them up. Mayweather would have ruined Cotto...

As for Baldomir, it's not Mayweather's fault he was the recognized welterweight champion and there was over $8 million for that fight...

I knew Baldy wasn't gonna get far with Mayweather.. I kind of pictured it the way it turned out because I knew Baldy has a hard head and has only been knocked out once or something like that. From the start I knew Mayweather was gonna be to quick... Baldy was gonna probably hurt him and he would outbox and survive and win a decision.

Mayweather was supposed to be fighting either Ricky Hatton or Kostya Tszyu, not Chop Chop Corley. He said "Hatton is my money fight and Tszyu is my legacy fight".

yeah,i dont think anybody can criticize floyd for fighting baldomir, the fight made so much sense at the time although the outcome was predictable

Yeah I guess your right... theres to much bull**** going on on the promoters side and what not also.. Maybe hes just a victim of the times... I'm not knocking him for fighting Oscar though. Whoever does is a douche bag.. You have an oportunity to make the most you have made in your career and get a big name like that on yor record.. You would be ****** not to take it! Yeah Oscar isn't what he was but he still has some fight in him.

He turned Mayweather down. He only fought Hatton because he was mandatory and was getting a career-high purse to come to Manchester, and Oscar was going to be Tszyu's finale fight (over-looked Hatton big time) later in '05.
