These organizations have rules that say that at anytime they can forego all other rules and do whatever they want. There is actually a rule that says that. It's nuts."

is atlas on crack? he talks about rules, but does his dumb ass remember the wbc emeritus rule.

vitali's comeback, i'm sure, is partially inspired by corrupt politics to begin with.

anyone hating on the klitschko situation should just stop watching heavyweight boxing.

and btw, i'm not against peter fighting maskaev. i just hope this works out somehow.

I've thought it was unfair and absurd for Vitali to jump in front of Peter.

What is even more disgusting is that Vitali Klitschko is going along with this outrage. Maskaev is just one more hand picked opponent for him to club into submission.

Never thought of Teddy as someone's poppet.

        This is such Bull****!

He obviously got paid to go on record and say this ****. How often do you hear Teddy Atlas comment on things?

What's the matter, Merchant couldn't sell out so they turned to Atlas?

are correct gentlemen. for you guys who have followed my comments here the last four years, you know that i am not a fan of atlas. from the whole "punchers are born" bull**** myth to some of the rediculous **** he says about some boxers in general. not to mention, well, now i am mentioning, the way he talks differently about fighters behind thier back. not that he always does it though.

no matter what peter has done, vitali klitschko has had the right for nearly 2 years now i believe to come back and fight immediately for the belt. him and his bro are the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing. and speaking out against fighters like vitali, who is among the nicest, most humble yet entertaining boxers out there is not going to win over seasoned boxing fans.

            again, i say f' atlas.

Speaking of Atlas, I was watching a movie about the concentration camps holding a polish boxer the other night starring Willem Dafoe. The movie was called Triumph of the Spirt. It was from 1989, I think it was. And one fighter who Dafoe's character had to fight in order to entertain the **** officers was, none other than, a young Teddy Atlas. It was only a small bit part, but he did do a pretty convincing job at making the fight look pretty good.

                  Oh save the bull****.

It was just found out that WBC Emeritus would allow Vitali to come back and fight in place of the #1 mandatory. Vitali was running for Mayor in his hometown for god's sake.

Peter beat Toney in the WBC eliminator and that makes him the mandatory for the WBC belt. Just because a clause written on Vitali's WBC title holding states Vitali has the right to return Emeritus doesn't make it right.

Only a total Vitali Klitschko nuthugger would think it's ok for Vitali to jump in front of Peter when he hasn't fought in over 2 years.

It's all moot. Klitchko will injure himself whilst training AGAIN.

How on earth do you know how Vitali will fair in his comeback? There is no guarantee he'll be the same fighter he was. There's no fighter in history that was so talented he could skip two years with an injury and then come back the same as he left.

It's absolute nonsense to automatically assume these things.

Oh and Maskaev got a spilt decision against a guy JCG got rid of in three rounds. I just thought I'd mention that again.
