even fighter want some money nothing new in that that is the capitalsm rule. at least he is better than Bob arum and Frank Warren in this area and i think he give chance for his fighter and i seen Mayorga and many other fighter where he thowen them into wolves after they are shot and lose there value and sometimes even to hypen some prospects and conteder that he has. He gave spinks as a debut in the jr MW as title shot against Kamazin of russia and that was a lose lose for his sitaution where he is going to have a lose from one of these fighters

i with you in here but Mayorga really is going for a payday and Don King gave him one of his biggest payday against DLH win or lose he got 1mil which is good for him. Mayroga knew he was going to lose and part of the fight e****ally the knockdown was abit suspsion about because it looks fake kinda

Don King is a con-man. His involvement in murder and money racketeering are documented facts. Many of his fighters have come out and spoken negatively of him for various reasons. Tyson is the main one who King abused.

I've often heard that he rips off his fighters but I'm not sure to what extend or if there is any truth to this. A lot of boxers come into the business without any knowledge on how the business is run. There are many boxers that have squandered their money and will blame everyone but themselves.

good point, i believe he helps more fighters than he actually ruins.
don't forget a lot of these guys don't have anything before don king, and then king gives them that shot for a belt and they take advantage of it. then fighters get greedy and want everything, everything is put into contracts the fighters need to get themselves good lawyers to look over everything before they sign....
