I Think ARCE would get KNOCKED OUT by DARCHINYAN...

What's with the overwhelming favoring of Darchinyan? It's more of a toss-up than anything else. I think that if Darchinyan chooses to brawl, he'll get hit up pretty badly. He's the bigger puncher, so of course Arce will be a little more defensive and leary of the shots. He won't be standing there like he did for Ler, and I don't know why anyone would think that...

Arce is a bundle of energy but he would get beat down by Darchinyan. Darchinyan is the better technical fighter, simple as that. I also really think Arce is overated as a puncher (His last 8 opponents have been garbage, really.)

Vic kind of reminds me of Hamed in the fact that he dosent trow enough punches because he rely's on his power.

Dont get me wrong, i love Arce, and i love Darchinyan.

This fight would be the single greatest fight to ever take place under 130 pounds. It has all the makings of it. 2 ****y guys that love to fight. Both can punch hellaciously, and both have shown the ability to take a punch and come back swinging.

But there were a few punches from LER, that had ARCE staggering back. granted, he wasnt expecting them because LER (or however u spell it) was hardly ever throwing.

But he got caught with a loooot more flush shots then he should have with a guy like LER. With a guy like Darchinyan, thats not a mistake he can afford to make.

I think he'll get caught a lot in the fight, and he'll go down maybe once. But his heart will leave him on his feet in one of the later rounds, after getting caught with a massive shot, and the ref will be forced to stop it.

I also think Arce will struggle with Darchinyans extremely awkward style.

I disagree because though u are right Darchinyan is awkward but in his awkwardness he hangs his head way out in front of him often in his fights. That will be a huge no no against arce. Arce's defense isnt too good either but of the two it will be Darrchinyan who will gets hit most often because he is more open, and Arce has much quicker hands.

vic's chin has never really been tested. arce gets hit way too much i see KO for vic even tho i'd want arce to win.

Youve got to realize that vic darchinian could easly fight 2-3 weight classes higher. Where as arce is allready coming up in weight and is smalller than most of his opponants. So Id think vic has a size advantage as well as a power advantage. I think darchinian awquard southpaw style would confuse arce as it does most of his opponants. In order to win this fight arce would have to out box vic darchinain and not trade with him and as we have already seen arce simply doesnt have the disciplin not to. So im pickin vic darchinian by a Ko win in a wildly exciting match up.

Well my point is still valid. He does have a size adantage. and its a big size advantage lol. Im a arce and darchinian are 2 of my favorite fighters but i just dont see arce doing good in this fight.

I was not trying to invalidate your point but merely pointing out the obvious... Arce has really out grown his current weight-class (weigh 130-pounds the night of the fight) and is really big. It would be a solid match and both guys would be in for some pain...
