Nice way to put a favorable twist for your boy but the truth is that the money is the real problem. Shaw and Darchinyan want an even split because he is the "Champion". Arce is the real draw so, of course, wants more of the purse. It is as simple as asking yourself Who is the draw? Arce clearly puts fans in seats and deserves more money. This has nothing to do with any person being afraid of the other. I hope the fight is made.

You gotta be kidding me. Arce is one of the toughest hombres in boxing today. He's a rare one that loves to get hit as much as dish it out. You guys are acting like Vic will walk right through him. Arce was throwing BOMBs at Ler or whatever **** his name was. Any other guy that doesn't cover up like a shell as Ler did woulda been knocked the **** out. Look at that, Ler got tagged once cleanly by Arce and was nearly out on his feet. Arce doesn't need to worry about Vic hiding and covering up. And technically I don't see Vic any better than Arce. Vic was getting outboxed by Gabi and on his way to losing the fight until Gabi got tagged in like the 8th or 10th round and it all ended for him. This would definitely be a war and I'd pick Arce just as much as Vic. It'll come down to who wants it more and you know Arce's mindset is freakish. He fought Hussien Hussien with his nose nearly falling off!Comment

One thing going for Arce in this match-up is that Darchinyan has yet to face a fighter as good as him. That must account for something. If Darch wins, then there's no question that he's legit. This will be a true test for both guys, but for me right now the edge goes to the more proven Arce, although I agree that there's always a probability that he gets knocked out.Comment

Firstly, this is a fight that MUST take place. This is one that has 'classic' written all over it, and I wouldnt mind who won. They're both superb, exciting, hard hitting fighters.
I don't think you can really pick a winner here. Hussein Hussein had his moments against Arce, but Arce's heart and power in that fight were outstanding. And against Donaire Darchinyan didnt overly impress until he got the KO.
I would give Darchinyan the edge in power but Arce's workrate and heart are immense. If I had to put money on it I guess I would go for Arce....no wait, Darchinya....no hang on, definitely Arce.....Or Vic.....
**** IT, I dont know. Let's hope they fight so that we get a great fight and get to find out who's the best.Comment
