Dont get me wrong, i love Arce, and i love Darchinyan.

This fight would be the single greatest fight to ever take place under 130 pounds. It has all the makings of it. 2 ****y guys that love to fight. Both can punch hellaciously, and both have shown the ability to take a punch and come back swinging.

But there were a few punches from LER, that had ARCE staggering back. granted, he wasnt expecting them because LER (or however u spell it) was hardly ever throwing.

But he got caught with a loooot more flush shots then he should have with a guy like LER. With a guy like Darchinyan, thats not a mistake he can afford to make.

I think he'll get caught a lot in the fight, and he'll go down maybe once. But his heart will leave him on his feet in one of the later rounds, after getting caught with a massive shot, and the ref will be forced to stop it.

I also think Arce will struggle with Darchinyans extremely awkward style.

I agree, i think Arce would be more of a boxer against Vic and only really unleash if he got Vic against the ropes... The fight would be great though, a barn-burner for sure. This fight NEEDS to happen.

it would definetly be a war. And i hope he would fight a bit differently, try to work around the awkwardness of Darchinyan, but brawling is what arce does. Thats Jorge Arce.

Arce is a good fighter. Darchinyan likes to throw them 1-2 combos.. Im pretty sure he will catch Arce.. We just gotta see how he will hold up. Interesting fight. Hope this fight gets made for 07.

Arce has been moved very very slowly in recent years which leads me to believe that like Goog said, Arum is hiding his man.

Gonzalez vs. Carbajhal all over again! I believe Arce has the superior skills but Vic has the better chin and the ultimate equalizer in his power...I'll take Vic down on the cards to eventually stop Jorge.
