Arturo is fighting his last fight on my birthday! I'll be sure to be there.
Any ideas on who he will be fighting?

He will probably fight a known but washed up opponent. Hopefully if he wins, it will not encourage him to keep fighting.

I agree. Wouldnt it be great, though, to close his career out with one last memorable battle, pulling off a 'blood and guts' win?

Yeah, especially in Boardwalk Hall, he deserves a win.

Rumor has it that New York Junior Welterweight Dmitriy Salita is in the running for the fight.

I hate to say this becuz I love him so much, but give him 2 years away from the sport and he's going to have all kinds of problems with his speech and the such.

Hopefully he fights SALITA. With Gattis dimished skills, that could be a great fight and a GREAT way to go out.

Gatti isnt washed up like many seem to think. He still has a lot in the tank. But he's been in so many wars, that its definetly time to hang 'em up.
