lol, who thinks lacy would beat joe in a rematch ? ? ? ? ?
haha i bet alot of you do, bet youd even stake ur home on a lacy ko.
its ok for american fighters to always fight on home soil but not ok if
anyone else does it. as for joes opponents, wasnt lacy meant to be
the real deal ? and wasnt juan urango not really anything special ?Comment

Well Calzaghe needs to fight someone then, if he's so good.
I prefer Calzaghe to Hatton, but he dishes up **** to his fans for years on end then gets his break....puts on a brilliant performance...then goes back to serving up the Bika's and Manfredo's.
Where is Hopkins/Wright/Taylor Joe? You should rightly have to leave the UK for Hopkins, but Wright has shown he will travel and Taylor would probably come to Wales to be a two weight champ.Comment

Ive never thought too much about who i think is better between the 2.But if i think about it i would say i think Joe is better. I think Hatton has fought better opponents recently, and Joe has wasted a bit of time. But i think Joe is better.
Not that i dont think Hatton could overtake Joe, or Joe go even further ahead of Hatton.Comment

Calzaghe has fought a higher level of opposition though, so he can justifiable claim the crown of King of Britain. Brewer, Reid, Lacy, Woodhall, Sheika (sp), Mitchell, Veit (sp) and Eubank. These guys were the best in the SMW division at the time and more or less in their prime (well maybe not Eubank). Then there is ofcourse, Hopkins and Taylor to come (and I believe they will come).
Hatton really needs to fight the likes of Cotto and Mayweather before he can take that crown off Joe. Zoo was his toughest opponant. And to be fair, Hatton was was also impressive on his debut at 147 against a tough cookie in collazo.
So, overall: Joe. Defo.Last edited by medium-deek; 01-26-2007, 09:01 AM.Comment

Dunno why he comes out with this bull****. Hatton doesnt talk **** about Calzaghe. Ever since his divorce he's gone a little crazy, and I know someone who reckons they saw him out in Cardiff off his head on pills. Keep your mouth shut about Hatton and let your fists do the talking I say.
And if he wants to be recognised as better than Hatton then this better be his last warm up. Big names only from here on in, pleaseComment
