MMA requires one to be good at three things:

Kickboxing (punching, elbow, knees and kicks)
        BJJ (submissions and ground work)
        Judo (Takedowns, throws)

Who gives a ****. Last time I seen a UFC PPV, no one on the card looked technicially sound at what they were doing, and every fight looked sloppy as hell. Like I said before, MMA is for ***s.

the stuff some of you guys are saying is very ignorant. i train mma mostly muay thai so thats pretty offensive. whenever mma fans talk about boxing i always defend it. i try not to let it bother me too much though because guys are just being biased.

Agreed Omega. Thats why I don't like the guy and told him to put his money where his mouth is. Saying you don't like a sport is cool, but calling people gay and then not manning up is chicken**** in my book.

LOL @ asking this question on a boxing forum expecting any of these 'boxing experts' to choose anything but their beloved sport.

Most of these guys don't know the first thing about what it takes to compete in MMA, let alone tell you which one is harder. Don't believe me, just read the posts before mine on what their opinions of MMA is.

it depends on how many ppl do which.

the more competitors the harder the sport

I think people would be surprised by how much energy is used in a clinch or when attempting a take down. Remember unlike boxing all of your muscles are in tension.
