Over all I would have to say boxing because you can only win with your hands, where in the UFC you can use other parts of your body, getting a man down, etc.

        Boxing hands down.

MMA fights aren't 40 minutes long, and guys aren't generally moving around throwing punches using footwork. That requires a whole new level of aerobic conditioning....as opposed to using anaerobics to break your opponents arm off like a twig.

IMO Boxers are X times better athletes than Mixed Martial Artists.

I do both. The boxers are alot tougher. You have to train your body to take alot more abuse. Also, guys that do Muay Thai are very tough too. Guys who do just Jiu-Jitsu often have an aversion to getting hit, but not all do. One thing about mma though, you have to condition yourself to breathe when someone is on top of you. One of the 1st things I learned in Jiu-Jitsu is how to put as much weight on your opponents chest as possible to make it hard to breathe.

i do both and it depends on what you mean by which one is "harder"... MMA has alot more to learn: punching, kicking, takedowns, submissions, wrestling and the defending against all those things...

That's crap. MMA is not really much more than streetfighting with rules. You can either fight, or you can't. The toughest thing in MMA is learning to not doubt your sexuality after spending most of a fight in very ********** poses.

Way to show your ignorance there. If you wanna see how good they fight go to any BJJ academy, preferably one run by a Gracie, and drop a challenge.

I agree with vB Martin. MMA is just an excuse for ***s to get a chance to get on top of other ***s without getting called a *** by most of the public.

You can also drop a challenge. Put your money where your mouth is.
