Man, the Robinsoin win is so over looked, people looked at Steve’s paper record and dismiss him as a chump, nothing could be further from the truth. Robinson was a great boxer (his fight with McMillan is one of the best fights I’ve ever seen), extremely fast and really intelligent.
What Naz did to him was embarrassing, demonstrated that he could box orthodox, southpaw, square-on; just about anything a boxer was capable of. During the 8 rounds Naz was only caught something like 10 times.
I think the Kelley fight was the end of him. He was so desperate to impress HBO that he fell in love with his power and forgot to box.Comment

Naz by KO at any point in the fight. Early or late. The way these 2 start out, I'd say early though. Manny only has 1 mindset and that's going forward. Every opponent that tried that against Naseem was taken out very quickly. He had unbelieveable punching power and could punch devastatingly with either hand. He leaped and shot punches out of nowhere that nobody saw coming. Manny would be destroyed by punches he had no idea where they came from. Manny's defense sucks for a better word and he's no way as patient as Barrera was to pick Naz apart like that. 1 false move and it's lights out when ur in the ring with Naz. Prime Naz was unbeatable. Besides, they say Naz didn't train at all for Barrera and he looked that way in the ring. Terribly out of shape. So sad he vanished cause an in-shape Naz vs an in-shape Pacquaio woulda been a war for the ages.Comment

Yeah that's what they said about the Barrera right. Naz got so in love with counting on his power to save him that he would lack training for fights. Coming to the Barrera fight he was doing lots of things besides training and his power didn't save him in that fight. That's what happened and it was all over for him and his perfect streak(and ego).Man, the Robinsoin win is so over looked, people looked at Steve’s paper record and dismiss him as a chump, nothing could be further from the truth. nobody can come right in on naz like that with out getting cuaght viciously ... bad style matchup for pacComment

If Heussein can floor Pac with 1 jab, I'm pretty sure an awkward hookercut from Naz would ****ing rip his head off. I think you guys forget how hard he could crack. The hardest hitting guy under 130 I've ever seen in my life.
His gloves made a heavy, thudding sound you only hear at the high weights.
