I think De La Hoya doesn't trust Mayweather Sr 100%, because no matter what **** has gone on with his son, a part of him will not want his son getting knocked out.

This is great news. Now, it will be great if Delahoya got Ignacio Berstein to train him for this fight.

so they annouced they said "NO", without announcing a substitute. why would they?

That smells like bargaining to me.

Oscar gets embarrassed on May 5th, no matter who is in his corner. This means nothing.

i agree with you he even said it striaght after the Mayorga fight and during an interview in " Soul of Champion" that jr is alway his son and would wants him to be ATG so how this ATG is going to loss toward DHL that would ruin his chances.

anyway Blood is thicker than water and i dont think he is going to quit striaght away DHL would tell him you ask for more money so it could get the hype.

the guy is retired from boxing anf living happy with his own stuff going on so 2Mil is nothing for him as for DHL he is getting 30M which is really getting much more because he is even paid as a promoter and organizer and stuff.

anybody who looks into boxing behind the scenes knows that boxing is business more than a sport. any pro sport is a business before it is a sport and a business must generate money and much as possiable with the least price paying.
